Raising Women Masters Project

Raising Women Masters Project

As Öz Ekin Group, our "We Train Women Masters" project, which we initiated together with İŞKUR in order to increase women's employment in our sector and to improve the skills of our women and provide them with a profession, has been successfully completed.

Despite prejudices, we are proud of ourselves and our female employees, who have contributed their hard work, skills, and passion to the production and installation of PVC and glazing systems in just six months. We would also like to thank our İŞKUR Provincial Directorate for their support and the press for their interest.

Öz Ekin Group Chairman Basri İlhan: "As Öz Ekin Group, we wanted to contribute to women's employment through the 'Training Women Craftsmen' project, which we implemented in partnership with the Malatya İŞKUR Provincial Directorate. Our female employees performed above and beyond our expectations. We produced high-quality products, truly handcrafted by women. We recommend the employment of women to all industrialists."

İşkur Branch Manager Fatma Düzgün Varol: "The 'Training Women Craftsmen' project, which we implemented in collaboration with Öz Ekin Group, has proven that women can achieve great things in industry, in addition to their household chores, with their knowledge, effort, and skills. I thank each and every one of them for demonstrating the potential of women in the industry."

Human Resources Manager Bülent Kaya: "Our goal is to raise awareness in the industry. Having female employees will make significant contributions to our company. There are female employees in almost every sector. However, while the industrial sector is largely dominated by men, our female foremen have broken this prejudice. We support female employment."

Our female foremen Rabia Gülay Kösem, Dursune Çolak, Neslin Bayram, and Nural Irmak: "In our daily lives, we had passions like working with machinery and doing repairs. We contacted Öz Ekin Group through the website and the Turkish Employment Agency (İşkur). We submitted our applications. After evaluations, we were accepted. Some people around us thought we couldn't do it, but others supported us. Thankfully, our boss, managers, foremen, and all our colleagues valued and supported us greatly. We became a big family. We worked hard and succeeded. We are proud to be members of the large Öz Ekin Group family."
